(I know one convert that has talked of going to Sudan for AT LEAST the past 12 years) The very thought or hope of hijrah makes them ambivalent and unmotivated to do anything in the country in which they live. If people can't speak the language and believe that this will be a major impediment, they will remain in Europe. The question that then needs to be asked is: how many other people need to leave the country in order to make an appreciable difference for those that remain? Its most likely that these people will only be speaking French and would be used to French society and the various welfare benefits it provides. So when these guys aren't familiar with Arabic nor Arab culture, dont you think that they may face a cultural shock in the Middle East as everything would be so much different? Would this serve as an obstacle for them feeling more alienated in the Middle East than in Europe and having a harder time to "fit in"? Interesting point of view.
