What does he mean there is no doctrinal differences? As i understand the Shiites concept of Tawhid is at conflict with ours?
Actually what he said was that the Shia began as a political faction, and only later developed their profound doctrinal differences.
Although I am inclined to agree with the shaykh, I am sure Shi’i scholars will present a different history.
