His cousin wasn't involved in terrorism but he did receive an email from his brother advising the location of his last will and testament. He didn't interpret this as notification that his brother was going to become a suicide bomber and so he didn't alert the authorities. So he's been charged with withholding information about a terrorist attack from the British authorities as a result. This means that Haneef has charged with recklessly aiding a terrorist group by giving his sim card to the cousin who would receive an email one year later.
