The Legal Soapbox has an interesting legal discussion of the issue.
It’s heartening to see Dr. Haneef smiling even after such an awful episode.
Yes, it’s heartening to see the picture.
Now you know how it feels to read TinTin, Amir
gess, thank you for your comments, I am going to have to step in and defend amir, He is a really nice brother once you get to know him and see beyond the tatoos, white hooded robes, the confederate flag and the Burning crosses, he is just like you and me.
(seriously though, I think if you saw him you would realise how ironic your last comment is)
Baybers,
I know today is a day of joy and reflection as you put it elegantly on previous entry, and it surely strengthens my Iman, and Jazak Allah Khair for that Baybers.
Having said that, I could not find any better way to express what impact books like TinTin and movies have/had, which recently the South Asians and Arabs slowly getting to know.
We might not publish TinTin, but we DO have TinTin surrounded in our daily lives; school, scientific journals, work place, media, neighbours, you name it.
I have no doubt Amir is a nice Brother
BTW Baybers,
My concern is not those with “tattoos, white hooded robes, the confederate flag and the Burning crosses”, but those who are camouflaged in “white colour cloths”.
Gess,
Welcome to the township of Missing The Point. Please enjoy your stay.
Hmm
I am sure I have left a comment here. Just testing to avoid doubt.
Yeah, the real picture looks so much better.
