Terrorists turn to MMORPGs

The Australian reports that, having had their camps destroyed in Afghanistan, terrorists are now turning to RPGs — as in MMORPGs — for training.

Kevin Zuccato, head of the Australian High Tech Crime Centre in Canberra, says terrorists can gain training in games such as World of Warcraft in a simulated environment, using weapons that are identical to real-world armaments.

“Real-world armaments” such as the Warglaive of Azzinoth, Warp Slicers, Axe of the Gronn Lords, and Staff of Disintegration?

Its plausible. I mean, its a well established fact that peons work the Tora Bora gold mines, providing Al Qaeda with the resources to fund their world-wide terror campaign.

Its not a stretch to imagine Al Qaeda deploying the Warglaive of Azzinoth, Warp Slicers, Axe of the Gronn Lords, and Staff of Disintegration among the civilian population of the Western World.

Our governments must do more to counteract this deadly new threat from those dedicated terrorists who hate us for our values of peace, liberty, and democracy.

What, no Battelfield, COD? Methinks Brain Age is what they should be concerned about…

It’s a complete beat-up. Everybody knows real terrorists play Counterstrike.

“Terrorists are turning to the cold war weapons training ‘game’ called tetris to learn how to demolish buildings,” warned Professor Blah Blaharatna, a leading expert on Islamist terror. “Governments need to get involved in the Tetris world if they are going to stand a chance at defeating terrorism.”

I’m worried they might get their hands on Super Mario Bros. Have you seen the stuff Mario can do?

“Super” Mario is a commie.

God help us if they figure out how to use the cheats.

Especially if they manage to all get raptors or kodos. Imagine the chaos they could cause in a raid party. :D

Someone is confused on the type of R.P.G.s they need. I really don’t see how “Call to Duty” is going to teach people to handle a real TOW missile. Sorry the “rumble” feature in Nintendo is not even close. Hum, but if they can somehow figure a way to get Automatic reload on a real AK-47 now we are talking. BTW Raptors are WAY over-rated go with the plus 10 sword every time.
