I’m not aware of any Australian Muslims who have blown themselves up in the manner of the 7/7 kids in London. Do you have any examples, G-man?

But I do agree that the stereotyping of White Anglo-European Aussies was just appalling.

It was a very stereotypical portrayal of young Muslims.

Most Muslim youngsters I know are studious, well-mannered and normal. The people on that documentary were not a good representation of the Muslims I know personally.

Its another attempt to indulge to the victim mentality in some sections of the Muslim community.

Dysfunctional youth need it to shift blame from themselves, their drug use and their lack of self discipline; the ABC/Fairfax need it as an excuse to continue advocacy for social engineering.

The last segment showed a group of lebanese students whinging, but just look at them. They have managed to carve out a criminal appearance and disposition all by themselves.

I wonder are they alienated from their textbooks? alienated from their desk? alienated from the library? Perhaps their textbook discriminate against them?

Clearly they are not alienated, rather they have integrated all too well into a dysfunctional subculture fed by black american music, drugs and anti-social behavior.

Its time Abdul bin gangsta rappa got off welfare, got off “doof doof” music sobered up, and shut the hell up.

This show was the very worst of Left-wing self-loathing garbage. The embarrassing, rednecked trailer-trash Aussies versus the innocent, industrious, peace-loving Muslims. Such nuance.

Every immigrant group in any country generous enough to take them has to deal with issues of acceptance and mutual understanding. Sometimes those things take generations and they require both sides to actually have an interest in achieving such ends.

100 years ago in Australia the Catholics and the Proddies hated each other and refused to mix. More recently the Greeks, Italians and Vietnamese had their issues. Since none of them turned into homegrown terrorists, why does the issue even arise with the latest generation of disaffected immigrant youth?
