You can still see the vodcast on the abc website. He had some very important observations to make about the state of Iran right now. I still can't help thinking though it is the U.S. that caused a large part of the current crisis. The Ayatollah was only a response to the mad mand Shah Reza Pahlavi. The goon squads of Iran learned all their tricks from Sawak. For all its faults, at least Iraq was a secular state. The U.S. only stopped supporting Saddam when it became inconvenient to continue propping him up. They only declared war when Iraq said they would no longer accept U.S dollars for their oil.
